STILLS° is the portrait practice of Cotye Curry.
The approach
A good portrait is a decision, not an accident. Each session starts with a few questions: where will this photograph live, who will see it, what should they understand about you in a glance. The location, light and framing follow from the answers.
The work leans on composition and restraint: clean lines, considered space, natural and shaped light. The aim is a photograph that still looks right in ten years.
The practice
STILLS° is a mobile studio. Instead of one fixed room, sessions happen where you are, in the cities listed on the booking page. Every session is shot on a Canon R6 Mark III with an RF 24–70mm f/2.8 lens and finished individually.
